Hora Santa de Reparación

El primer viernes de cada mes inmediatamente siguiente a la

12:10 Misa en la Capilla del Santísimo Sacramento

Jesús nos implora que nos quedemos, velemos y oremos con Él, tal como lo hizo con Sus apóstoles: "Mi alma está triste hasta la muerte. Quédense aquí y velen conmigo (Mateo 26:38)". Jesús le dijo a Santa Margarita María que "repare la ingratitud de los hombres. Dedique una hora a la oración para apaciguar la justicia divina, para implorar misericordia por los pecadores, para honrarme, para consolarme de Mi amargo sufrimiento cuando me abandonó Mis apóstoles, cuando no velaron una hora conmigo".

Durante esta hora santa de reparación ante el Santísimo Sacramento, rezaremos una Comunión Espiritual, Actos de Reparación y Consagración al Sagrado Corazón, y preparación para una Feliz Muerte. La Hora Santa de Reparación es una devoción muy necesitada por nuestro mundo de hoy, en medio de sus tragedias y pecados.

Yvonne Patricia King (Mrs. King)    September 29, 1932-January 12, 2023

Yvonne was a lifelong and devoted Catholic, passed away on January 12 2023 in her sleep at her home. She attended mass and served as a parishioner at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament for the final decades of her life. She is survived by her seven sons and proceeded in death by her loving husband Ernest E. King and only daughter Mary Eva King. She was the loved and cherished grandmother of several parishioners here at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. She will be greatly missed. To read more about her life, please see her obituary.

Únase a sus compañeros feligreses de la Catedral en la Plaza de la Catedral este domingo para rezar un rosario por la intención de poner fin al aborto. El servicio bilingüe comenzará a las 11:15 am, entre la misa en inglés de las 10 am y la misa en español del mediodía.

¡ORACIÓN y COMUNIÓN!

Únase a sus compañeros feligreses de la Catedral para rezar el rosario, por Nuestra Iglesia y el Estado de California, todos los viernes por la mañana, a las 7:30 am.  Nos reunimos en Capitol Park, en el antiguo sitio de la estatua de San Junípero Serra (cerca de L St. entre las calles 12 y 13).  También cantamos algunas canciones y tenemos un gran compañerismo.  Esperamos verte ahí.

Este podcast busca crear un mayor sentido de comunidad entre nuestros feligreses. Cada episodio contará con un miembro del personal de la Catedral o un feligrés en una conversación informal con Christian Jensen. Un nuevo episodio saldrá cada dos sábados.

Cathedral Tours 

Docents are available to give tours on Sundays after the 8:00 am and 10:00 am English masses. Spanish language tours will be given following the noon Spanish mass. Our Docents will share with you how the Cathedral is such an important part of early California history. The Parish Pastoral Council would like to thank all those who participated in the Christmas carol during the Advent and Christmas seasons at the Cathedral Plaza and DOCO. We hope to do it again this year!
